September 5, 2024
Storable, a supplier of various products and services for the self-storage industry, announced several new releases and updates to its product line. The company’s latest additions focus on automation, artificial intelligence (AI), customer engagement and operational efficiency, according to a press release.
“At Storable, we're passionate about helping self-storage operators stay ahead of the curve. Our newest innovations are all about simplifying their daily operations and enhancing the tenant experience,” said CEO Chuck Gordan. “We're committed to providing the right tools that allow our customers to not just meet but exceed their business goals.”
Storable introduced a new contactless-entry app for its SiteLink facility-management software. Operators using Storable Access Control can now offer their tenants digital facility access without having to issue gate codes, cards or fobs.
The company added a “Future Move-Ins” feature to its storEDGE management-software platform. The tool allows tenants to schedule their move-in for a future date. Operators can allow customers to sign the rental agreement and make their first payment using the module.
Storable recently unveiled its insured-to-value tenant-insurance technology, which allows self-storage operators to tailor minimum coverage requirements based on unit size.
The company launched Storable CRM (formerly CallPotential Contact Center), an automation platform that offers call tracking, lead management and automated follow-ups.
Storable continues to invest in next-generation technologies and is integrating AI across its solution suite, the release stated. “Over the next 12 months, we are accelerating our investment in AI by embedding intelligent workflows into our current products and creating new AI-native solutions,” said Saunvit Pandya, senior vice president of product and platform. “These innovations will significantly enhance personalized experiences for our customers and their tenants while empowering operators to boost operational efficiency at a pivotal moment for the industry.”
Based in Austin, Texas, Storable offers cloud-based access control, management software, marketing and website services, payment processing, tenant insurance, and other self-storage products. Its family of companies includes Bader, CallPotential, Easy Storage Solutions, SBOA Merchant Services, Select Merchant Solutions, SiteLink, storEDGE, StorageAuctions.com and Storsmart. The company is backed by Boston-based private-equity firm Cove Hill Partners, which was founded in 2017 and manages an inaugural fund of more than $1 billion.
