David Dodge, president of Paramount Metal Systems, is retiring after a 43-year career in the self-storage industry. He'll hold the title “president emeritus” and serve as a consultant while the company transitions to a new management team, according to sources.
Dodge joined Paramount in 2004 and served as its president for 20 years. He successfully expanded the company’s design-build capabilities in steel construction for a variety of commercial and industrial sectors including education, healthcare and self-storage.
Dodge’s career in the steel-component and metal-building industry began in 1982. He served in various roles with manufacturers in Louisiana, Tennessee and Texas. He’s also earned multiple state and national awards, board appointments and commissions. Dodge's work in the self-storage industry has resulted in the development, procurement and management of projects that exceed $500 million, the source reported.
“David has been widely recognized as a leading authority in the use of steel-component designs as a primary resource in construction,” said a company spokesperson. “Thanks to his leadership, Paramount is well-positioned to carry on his legacy.”
Little Rock, Arkansas-based Paramount is a design-build construction company that specializes in cold-rolled, engineered steel structures and metal, retrofit roof systems. Its portfolio includes single- and multi-story self-storage facilities as well as conversions projects.
