The facility at 2161 Theatre Drive will include a single-story, 66,000-square-foot storage building and a 625-square-foot management office, according to the source.
Members of the Paso Robles Planning & Zoning Commission approved the project in a 6-0 vote. Commission members also agreed to allow Tucker and Idler to erect a 21-foot-high sign behind the appliance store that will be visible from U.S. Highway 101. Theatre Drive Mini-Storage will be a major tenant on the sign that will also include other retail stores in the complex.
Larry Gabriel Architect (LGA) filed the development application on Tucker’s behalf, the source reported. In addition to architectural services, LGA offers construction management, planning and programming for commercial properties including mixed-use, recreational and residential as well as self-storage. It has offices in Paso Robles and Santa Barbara, Calif.
