Cubby, a provider of self-storage management software, has integrated its platform with Late2Lien, a program that automates the self-storage lien process. The collaboration gives Cubby customers an integrated solution for improving tenant management, particularly in regard to late payments, according to a press release.
Late2Lien automatically monitors tenant lists for delinquencies while it generates, tracks and provides the accountable history of the required notices according to each self-storage statute timeline and parameters. The system also checks for military status, handles all returned mail processing, provides required mailings to all contacts and/or lien holders, and automates advertising in compliant publications. All the information is securely stored and accessible 24/7 through the Late2Lien cloud-based portal.
“This partnership with Cubby reinforces our shared mission to help self-storage operators focus on what matters most—running their facilities effectively and allocating valuable human resources to their best uses,” said Late2Lien Managing Member Jeff Greenberger. “By helping Cubby users automate their lien process and ensuring legal compliance, we’re empowering operators to save time, reduce payment time and avoid costly legal risks.”
“Partnering with Late2Lien is a no-brainer for storage operators,” said Matt Engfer, CEO of Cubby. “Cubby clients rely on us to provide the tools they need to run their facilities efficiently. By integrating Late2Lien’s lien capabilities into Cubby, we’re delivering on our promise to simplify operations with a partner that reduces risk for our clients.”
Cubby software is used for self-storage analytics, marketing, pricing and other operational functions. The platform can be used by single- or multi-site owners of staffed or unattended sites.
Based in Cincinnati, Late2Lien provides a turnkey solution for automating the self-storage late through lien-sale process. Its engine is powered by the lien-sale requirements, timelines and processes outlined in each state statute.
