What do you get when you mix 100,000 smart lights, spooky music, and dozens of ghosts, goblins, skeletons, witches, spiders, evil pumpkins, zombies and other creepy figures of the night, many of which move and speak to passersby? Well, it’s the award-winning Halloween display at Burbank Self Storage (BSS) for starters, and that brief description doesn’t come close to doing it justice.
Check out this episode of Kidult TV, a YouTube channel dedicated to theme parks and other fun attractions, which takes us on a tour of the BSS spooktacular display with facility representative David Cantu. Family-owned and -operated since its founding in 1977, the business at 3203 N. San Fernando Blvd. in Burbank, California, takes great delight in participating in a citywide contest each fall to deliver a fun and frightful experience for visitors. The full display takes eight weeks to assemble, and as you tour the grounds, you’ll understand why. Just keep your wits about you because you never know what may be hiding in the next frame!
