Shakespeare once asked, “What’s in a name?” In self-storage, a facility name can accomplish quite a bit, setting the tone for branding and sealing the deal on a creative design theme. Such is the case at Presidential Storage, which is under development in Covington, Louisiana. Not only will the property feature a red, white and blue color scheme, the interior hallways will be named after U.S. presidents! Join project manager Jake Palmisano of Kent Design Build Inc. as he tours the site, which’ll ultimately include a 40,000-square-foot, climate-controlled building and 30,000 square feet of enclosed boat/RV space. You’ll see the storage areas, management office, and how the developer is tackling HVAC, lighting, security and more. Plus, get a glimpse of a creative method for combatting weather-related construction delays! It’s very top-level.
