Today’s customers are seeking more choices when it comes to their storage needs, and operators are striving to meet the demand. New business models have sprung up in recent years including valet-style, by-the-bin storage and neighbor-to-neighbor shared space. Now, there’s a new contender on the scene. Mobile-storage pioneer Peter Warhurst, who founded PODS (Portable on Demand Storage) in 1998, has launched Red Rover. Dubbed “fetchable storage,” the service combines aspects of mobile storage and self-storage to fill a unique segment of the market. Find out how it works and where it’s currently available.
