Yardi Systems Inc., which provides property-management software for self-storage and other types of real estate, introduced its new Breeze software at the Inside Self-Storage World Expo in Las Vegas last week. The product is designed for smaller storage portfolios, according to a press release.

The software includes an accounting system, integrated marketing, automated reporting, online payments and maintenance, and tenant-communications systems. It can be set up online and offers unlimited live-chat support, the release stated. It also includes a path to the Yardi Self Storage Suite software program for larger portfolios.

“Yardi now offers a range of software options for self-storage businesses of all sizes. Yardi Breeze Self Storage builds on the success of our Yardi Breeze property-management platform for smaller portfolios to deliver an easy user interface unique to self-storage,” said Terri Dowen, senior vice president of sales. “From instant live-chat support to one-click reporting, everything is aimed at saving time, which is often our customers’ most precious commodity.”

Yardi’s suite of programs includes accounting, ancillary processes, operations and services, with portfolio-wide business intelligence and platform-wide mobility. Based in Santa Barbara, Calif., and founded in 1984, the company serves clients worldwide from offices in Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and North America.
