Union Realtime LLC, which offers a suite of location-intelligence tools for self-storage and other real estate sectors, is launching a property-management software platform that can be used for self-storage and other storage-related asset types. ManageSpace won’t be released until the fall, but can be sampled this week at the Inside Self-Storage World Expo in Las Vegas, according to a press release.

The cloud-based software allows self-storage operators to manage leads, unit inventory, payments and reporting. Designed for an array of real estate asset classes including marinas as well as vehicle- and self-storage facilities, ManageSpace works into operators’ existing process, documentation flow and language, the release stated.

“Our vision was not to simply improve upon existing solutions but rather to create a comprehensive approach to how day-to-day operations are supported,” said Paola Santiago, senior technical product manager.

ManageSpace was developed after months of interviews with self-storage owners and operators to understand their needs, challenges and daily operations, the release stated. “Those insights allowed us to create a system that fills gaps while seamlessly integrating with existing workflow,” Santiago said.
