OpenTech Alliance Inc., a Phoenix-based provider of self-storage kiosks, call-center services and other technology, has integrated its StoreCore online-rental solution with SightMap interactive mapping software from Engrain. OpenTech expects to integrate the tool with its line of Insomniac self-serve kiosks by Oct. 1, according to a press release.
The integration will allow self-storage operators who use StoreCore for their websites to view unit-level data and manage inventory. Potential renters will also be able to view available units with sizing and price information via an online facility map, the release stated. Once the customer is on site, the map software provides a wayfinding experience to help them navigate the property and find their unit. Each map includes facility markers such as entrances and exits.
“We’re excited about incorporating our maps within OpenTech’s already impressive tools to provide a new feature for their clients and customers,” said Brent Steiner, founder and CEO at Engrain. “Maps improve the overall customer experience and help self-storage operators really understand what’s happening in their facilities.”
“As we see the expansive digital adoption of self-service technology and online rentals in our industry, we know a frictionless experience is key,” said Jon Loftin, vice president of product for OpenTech.
Engrain is a provider of touring technology and map-based, data-visualization software. Its products are designed to integrate with real estate technology and enhance the online experience for users who are searching, touring and leasing properties.
