Self-Storage Security Provider PTI Updates StorLogix Cloud Access-Control Software

PTI Security Systems, a provider of access-control and security solutions for the self-storage industry, has updated its StorLogix Cloud access-control software to incorporate several new features. Changes include a dark-mode user interface, which displays light-colored text on a dark background, and the ability to aggregate data from multiple self-storage sites onto a single page. There’s also an upgrade to the way unit-security functions such as door alarms, motion sensors and electronic overlocks can be configured and operated within the platform, according to a press release.

In addition, when they pair StorLogix with the company’s new CloudController system controller, users will have portfolio-wide visibility through a dashboard and be able to customize notifications based on site activity, the release stated. They’ll also receive advanced reporting and analytics.

The update is the largest PTI has issued since StorLogix was introduced in 2019, according to Thomas Brooks, managing director. “Now more than ever, it’s vital that self-storage owners and operators can effectively manage every aspect of their facility’s access control efficiently from anywhere,” he said.

“This update has been designed to evolve with our customer’s changing needs, ultimately simplifying access-control management,” said Nathan Davenport, solutions manager, who noted that self-storage operators can customize and scale their experience by selecting only the features they need.

PTI manufactures technology-enabled security solutions. Its product line includes access-control hardware and software, wired and wireless door alarms, and mobile-access solutions. The company has installed more than 40,000 systems in 30-plus countries.
