Janus International Releases Nokē Contact Hard-Wired Smart Lock for Self-Storage

Janus International Group, a global manufacturer and supplier of building solutions and access-control technology for the self-storage industry, has added Nokē Contact to its line of Nokē smart-entry products. The low-voltage door lock is contact-charged and hardwired, according to a press release. It comes with a rechargeable battery backup and a constant LED indicator.

Nokē Contact fits directly onto a self-storage unit door with 4-bolt design. It can also be factory-installed, which saves up to 40% on installation time, the release stated.

“We’re very excited to introduce our new product, Nokē Contact, and for its potential to help self-storage owners and operators implement smart-locking solutions into their businesses easier and faster than ever before,” said Janus CEO Ramey Jackson. “Our team remains committed to providing innovative, leading solutions for smart entry and facility automation to the self-storage industry; and the new product, Nokē Contact, allows us to bring our advanced technology to self-storage facilities on a global scale.”

Headquartered in Temple, Georgia, and founded in 2002, Janus is a global manufacturer and supplier of turnkey commercial, industrial and self-storage building solutions including roll-up and swing doors, hallway systems, relocatable storage units, and facility- and door-automation technologies. The company operates out of several U.S. locations and six international offices.
