Argus Professional Storage Management LLC (APSM), a four-year-old strategic partnership between real estate brokerage Argus Self Storage Sales Network (ASSSN) and third-party management provider Professional Self Storage Management LLC (PSSM), has named Korey Hanson as its new president effective Aug. 1. Hanson has been involved in the self-storage industry since 2004 after graduating from the University of Arizona. He’s been the director of operations for PSSM for 10 years and for APSM since it launched in 2012.
“We are excited to have Korey at the helm as our companies continue to grow and evolve,” said Mel Holsinger, who founded PSSM in 2003 and serves as the company’s current president. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role, and will give our clients the utmost confidence in our firm’s commitment to their continued success.”
Based in Denver, ASSSN is a national network of real estate brokers who specialize in self-storage. The company provides brokerage, consulting and marketing services to self-storage buyers and sellers and operates SelfStorage.com, a marketing medium and information resource for facility owners. Founded in 1994 by Michael L. McCune, it’s currently owned by Ben Vestal, who has more than 10 years of experience in the self-storage industry, and employs dozens of broker affiliates who cover approximately 40 U.S. markets.
PSSM manages self-storage facilities for individuals, corporations and partnerships. In addition to manager hiring, training and supervision, the Tucson, Ariz.-based company provides complete marketing programs, operations policies and procedures, accounting services, insurance administration, site audits, and more.
APSM provides development-consulting services as well as third-party management services for 70 self-storage facilities in eight states.
