February 10, 2023
Store Space Self Storage, which operates more than 100 facilities, hired JC Reed as vice president of operations. As the company continues to expand via third-party management, joint ventures, acquisitions and new construction, Reed and the operations team will support its district managers while implementing operational efficiencies and refining the customer journey, according to a press release.
Most recently, Reed was employed with self-storage real estate investment trust Public Storage Inc, which he joined in 2011 as district manager. During his time with the company, he was promoted through the positions of senior district manager, regional vice president and, finally, senior regional vice president in January 2018. In his last role, he oversaw 100-plus properties in Hawaii and Seattle and generated more than $150 million in revenue, the release stated. His Pacific Northwest team ranked in the top 10 in overall performance for the REIT during eight out of the last 10 years and saw the second-highest revenue growth in the company over the last five.
“JC’s comprehensive knowledge of the industry and proven track record will be vital as we continue our course of rapid expansion,” said Store Space President Rob Consalvo. “We’re excited to welcome JC to the Store Space family.”
The entrepreneurial and collaborative atmosphere is what attracted me to Store Space. I’m passionate about our customers, our team and our business,” Reed said. “I’m ready to help my team achieve their goals and use my creative problem-solving skills to ensure Store Space stays on this path of exponential growth.”
Based in Winter Garden, Florida, the Store Space family of companies owns, operates and third-party manages properties in 20 states.
