Man Arrested After Assaulting Another Male With a Bat at Prince William, VA, Self-Storage Facility

Police arrested a man this week after he assaulted another man with a metal bat during an argument at a CubeSmart self-storage facility in Prince William, Virginia. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the source.

The Monday night incident at 14250 Charis Ave. happened after a verbal altercation escalated between Joshua Everett Collins, 39, and the 49-year-old victim. During the quarrel, Collins retrieved the bat from his vehicle and struck the victim with it several times. He then got back in his vehicle and waited for police to arrive, the source reported.

Collins has been charged with malicious wounding. He’s being held on a $4,000 bond.
