2 Arrested for 30-Plus Self-Storage Burglaries in Goldsboro, NC

Two people were arrested this week in connection with nearly three dozen burglaries that occurred at self-storage facilities in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The break-ins took place at two Compass Self Storage facilities between Jan. 12 and July 19, according to the source. A total of 33 units at 206 N. Berkeley Blvd. and 1301 Parkway Drive were breached during the crime spree.
Joe Nathan Sharp, 30, has been charged with 33 counts each of breaking and entering, felony larceny, and possession of stolen property. He was served a warrant while being held at the Wayne County Detention Center on unrelated charges. His bond is $125,000.
Crystal Lynn Sharp, 39, was arrested on July 20 and faces the same charges. She’s being held on a $503,000 bond.
Compass Self Storage, a member of the Amsdell family of companies, is headquartered in Cleveland. It operates nearly 100 self-storage facilities nationwide.
