Space Station Self Storage of England Hires Portfolio Development and IT Managers

Space Station Self Storage, which operates 12 facilities in England, has hired two team members. Steve Chambers has been appointed as IT engineer, while Stephen Wilson has joined the company as portfolio development manager, according to a press release.

Chambers has a background in retail and property management. He’ll help improve the company’s technology and business processes.

Wilson will spearhead the company’s expansion plans and develop projects already underway. He has experience developing offices in Africa and Russia.

“This is an exciting period for Space Station, and we are incredibly excited to have Stephen and Steve on board. We are confident that they will be great assets to the team, helping to grow and develop our rapidly expanding company,” said CEO Kevin Price.

Founded in 1983 by owner Alastair Caldwell, Space Station operates facilities across London, Berkshire, Birmingham, Northamptonshire and Shropshire, England. It also provides free moving services for new tenants. The company was acquired last year by real estate investment firm Heitman LLC.
