Self-Storage REIT CubeSmart Launches Mobile App

CubeSmart, a publicly traded self-storage real estate investment trust and management company, has launched a mobile app that provides tenants with their gate codes, and allows them to manage their accounts and receive push notifications. Prospective customers can also use the app to reserve and rent a unit, according to a press release.

The app give tenants access to features like billpay, autopay, account balances, payment history and password management, the release stated. It’s available for Android and iOS devices.

“Our goal is to make our customers’ storage experience as easy as possible, giving them options to interact with us in the way that they prefer,” said Christopher P. Marr, president and CEO. “This mobile app is our newest way of enhancing the customer experience by enabling them to control nearly all of their rental needs from their own device.”

CubeSmart owns or manages 1,266 self-storage facilities across the United States. Its operating portfolio comprises 85 million square feet.
