CubeSmart, a self-storage real estate investment trust (REIT) and management company, has launched a “SmartView” mobile app that allows its third-party management clients to view key performance metrics for their properties on demand. Users can review the most current data in summarized reports for individual facilities or an entire portfolio. They can also analyze trends through a variety of graphic displays, according to a press release.
“SmartView is our newest way of leveraging technology to enhance our third-party management experience by providing a clear line of sight into store performance.” said Christopher P. Marr, president and CEO. “The app provides owners the same real-time view of their business as our internal operations team.”
CubeSmart ranked No. 2 among third-party management companies on the 2021 Inside Self-Storage Top-Operators Lists. It’s managed portfolio comprises more than 46 million rentable square feet and comprises more than 50% of the REIT’s total operating portfolio.
Headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, CubeSmart owns or manages 1,250 facilities nationwide. Its total operating portfolio comprises about 87 million square feet.
