Beyond Self Storage (BSS), which operates 23 facilities in 10 states, has partnered with Bellhop to offer moving services to tenants. When renting a storage unit online or over the phone, BSS customers can now take advantage of the new “No-Sweat Storage Solution,” hiring movers, renting a truck or both, according to a press release.
“We are excited to offer this turnkey solution to our customers. The demand for relocation, whether short or long term, is high right now, and we are already seeing reservations for our ‘No-Sweat Storage Solutions’ come through,” said BSS Director of Marketing Lara Anderson.
The partnership was born from the storage operator’s desire to provide a top-quality customer experience, the release stated. “We are confident that we can provide the best-in class storing service for our customers, but so many times, we would be asked for moving referrals,” Anderson said. “Our mission is to protect and care for what matters most to our customers. It was imperative that we found a reliable moving service who held the same mission.”
“We were excited to find an innovative organization with a shared obsession for perfecting the customer experience,” added Michael Harbolt, chief marketing officer for Bellhop. “We look forward to partnering with Beyond Self Storage in making the reservation process easier and delivering an amazing move-in experience.”
BSS operates self-storage facilities in Arizona, Florida Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio and Pennsylvania. It plans to add another 20 facilities by 2023. The portfolio is owned by NorthPoint Development, a development, management and leasing firm that’s principally focused on the industrial, multi-family and self-storage markets in the Central United States.
Founded in 2010 and based in Chattanooga, Tenn., Bellhop’s operations span 24 states. It provides local, long-distance and at-home moving services as well as packing supplies.
