The William Warren Group (WWG), a privately held real estate company that operates the StorQuest Self Storage brand, has hired Norman Shore as vice president of operations. Shore will work to integrate facility operations with corporate departments. He’ll also focus on leveraging technology, including artificial intelligence (AI), to improve sales and security initiatives. He’ll report to Gary Sugarman, chief operating officer, according to a press release.

Shore has more than 20 years of self-storage experience. Prior to joining WWG, he spent two years as vice president of asset management at Alpha Storage Properties, where he was responsible for the operation and performance of all assets. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Temple University.

“We are fortunate to have Norman at the operations helm, bringing his invaluable self-storage experience to our team.” Sugarman said. “In his new role, Shore joins the executive-leadership team and will spearhead further integrating store operations with all corporate departments across the organization, refining our sales process to our stores via AI-driven technology, and expanding our digital monitoring and security platform.”
