Self-Storage Firm IREGC Announces Staff Changes for March 2023

Update 7/25/23 – IREGC has promoted Morgan to operations specialist. In her new role, she’ll provide administrative support to the operations teams in the field as well as the corporate office. Tasks include scheduling meetings, booking travel, assisting with the onboard of new properties, facilitating communication between the office and the field, and performing other duties as needed, according to a press release.

“We are excited to promote Lisa to the position of operations specialist,” said Shaun Lewy, vice president of operations. “She has been a crucial asset to the IREGC team, bringing her strong work ethic and enthusiasm to the table. I do not doubt that she will excel in this new role, and I am excited to see what the future brings.”

“I am truly honored to take on this new role within IREGC,” Morgan said. “Since joining the company, I have grown as a professional and met an amazing team. I am excited to serve as the operations specialist and build upon the integrity of the company.”

3/16/23 – The Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC), which specializes in self-storage construction and management and operates the Moove In Self Storage brand, promoted one employee and hired two people this month. This is the latest in a series of staff-related announcements the company has made in 2023. IREGC has made several team changes thus far this year.

Lisa Morgan has been promoted from brokerage administrative assistant to acquisitions manager. She’ll oversee the due-diligence process, set up vendor accounts and refine the purchasing checklist. After joining the company a year ago, she became a part of the recently created asset-management team upon the retirement of the IREGC brokerage division in February. She previously was an executive assistant for more than nine years.

Chris Riley Jr. has been hired as asset-project manager, responsible for tasks related to acquisitions, revenue enhancement, capital-expenditure projects and signage installation. He previously spent six years working in the commercial-contracting, residential-construction and property-management industries. Riley managed subcontractors, established coordination of work schedules, and performed commercial renovation projects that included excavation, concrete, carpentry and painting. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Towson University.

Lisa Ritt joined the company as construction and facilities coordinator. She’ll support the vice president of development and construction as well as the company’s construction division by overseeing online construction software, updating budgets and managing invoices. For more than a decade, Ritt has been employed as an executive assistant, working in the medical-device, healthcare and construction-design fields. She studied business administration at Towson University, holds a certification in administrative excellence, and is a Notary Public.

Since closing its brokerage division, IREGC is focused solely on expanding its Moove In portfolio. To prepare for the transition, it recently relocated its headquarters in York, Pennsylvania.

Moove In operates more than 60 facilities in Connecticut, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
