Talonvest Capital Inc., a boutique real estate adviser serving the self-storage industry, has expanded its team. Thalia Tovar joins the company as an associate of loan administration, while Ivan Viramontes has been hired as an analyst. They’ll support the firm’s expanding business with experienced real estate owner-operators and the development of more institutional clients, according to a press release.
Tovar will be responsible for orchestrating the due-diligence and loan-closing process for company clients. She has experience in residential transactions, manufactured/mobile home transactions and investments, real estate lending, and underwriting.
Viramontes’ responsibilities will include underwriting, financial analysis and market research for commercial, multi-family and self-storage properties. He previously was employed at WD Land, a full-service land brokerage and advisory firm. He’s a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
“Ivan and Thalia are driven, team-oriented professionals with a passion for delivering value to our clients and their financings,” said Tom Sherlock, co-founding principal.
Founded in 2010 and based in Orange County, Talonvest structures debt and equity for self-storage and commercial real estate investors and developers nationwide. The principals of the firm have more than 80 years of combined experience.
