Pinnacle Storage Properties, a Houston-based firm that operates 21 self-storage facilities under various names, has hired David Allen as district manager for its Arkansas and Texas locations. He’ll oversee due diligence, revenue management, marketing, quality assurance and budgeting, among other operational duties. He’ll also be responsible for hiring and training new employees for the facilities in his territory, according to a press release.
Allen previously spent 16 years as an area manager with self-storage real estate investment trust Life Storage Inc., where he oversaw properties in Texas. He has experience in acquisitions and new development as well as facility expansions and renovations. “I am happy to be joining such a well-respected organization,” Allen said. “I am excited to be a resource to support and promote team-member development in an environment that advances individual and company successes.”

Allen also has retail work experience. He was a district manager for Star Concessions and the Dallas Cowboy Pro Shops at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Arkansas.
