Moove In Self Storage Hires Regional Facilities Manager

Moove In Self Storage, which operates 55 facilities across six states, has hired Freddie Pack as regional facilities manager. Pack will oversee daily upkeep and maintenance across the Moove In portfolio. He’ll also help the construction department with site assessments and special projects, according to a press release.

Pack most recently served as a regional manager for a retail chain, overseeing more than 60 locations between Florida and New Jersey. He also previously managed the maintenance and renovations of two large shopping centers in Pennsylvania. He began his facility-management career in 1979 as part of the U.S. Navy, serving as the maintenance manager for Afloat Training Group Atlantic, which provides training to Navy and Coast Guard sailors, the release stated.

“With Freddie’s vast and extensive knowledge of managing different maintenance facilities, he will be a true asset to our team,” said Glen Iley, director of development and construction for Moove In. “He has already helped reshape how we execute our maintenance process to maximize our potential. Freddie always has a smile on his face and new ideas to help the team.”

Based in Quarryville, Pennsylvania, Pack served in the military for 23 years, retiring in 2002 as a senior chief petty officer and sonar technician. While enlisted, he served as a surface warfare specialist, master-level acoustic analyst, and a nuclear-weapons “launch and destruct” team member. He earned five Navy Commendation Medals.

Founded in 1998, Moove In is managed by the Investment Real Estate Group of Companies. Its portfolio spans across Connecticut, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It’s a participating regional operator of real estate investment trust National Storage Affiliates Trust, which has a self-storage portfolio of 68.4 million rentable square feet across 42 states and Puerto Rico.
