Marcus & Millichap’s Hatcher Coe Group Names New Vice President of Self-Storage Investments

The Hatcher Coe Group of commercial real estate firm Marcus & Millichap (M&M), which specializes in self-storage transactions, has promoted Meir Perlmuter to vice president of investments from senior associate. Perlmuter joined the firm in 2019, primarily focusing on markets in Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. He’s closed more than $267 million in real estate, ranging from large portfolios to individual property sales. He’s also one of the firm’s top-performing agents, having earned its “Sales Recognition Award” and “National Achievement Award” in 2021.

Prior to joining M&M, Perlmuter was an asset manager for Shelbourne Co., a $1 billion real estate investment group. There he was responsible for overseeing a multi-city office property portfolio comprising 16 buildings in Cincinnati and Cleveland.

Founded in 1971 and headquartered in Calabasas, California, M&M offers advisory services, and mortgage and real estate brokerage. Its research division produces reports and videos covering more than a dozen property types. The company has more than 80 offices in Canada and the United States.
