Go Store It (GSI) Self Storage, an investment sponsor that focuses on self-storage properties, has hired Beau Agnello as chief operating officer. With more than a decade of industry experience, he’ll bring key initiatives to support the next phase of the company’s growth, according to a press release.

Most recently, Agnello served as head of operations and senior vice president for nearly two years at National Storage, a privately held Midwest company. He also held several leadership positions at Extra Space Storage Inc., a self-storage real estate investment trust and management company, including divisional vice president from 2019 to 2021. In this role, he was responsible for 170 properties totaling 11 million square feet in Oklahoma and Texas.

“We are thrilled to announce the addition of Beau Agnello to our Go Store It team as we look to continue to grow our platform,” said Go Store It founder Ryan Hanks. “Beau’s significant knowledge, strong relationships and technological experience within the self-storage sector will enhance the GSI operational strategy as we continue to look for ways to become nimbler and more efficient.”

Founded in 2014 and based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Go Store It is a privately held acquisition, development and property-management company. It operates 88 facilities in 15 states.
