With grilling season in full swing, Self-Storage Talk (SST), the self-storage industry's largest online community, has invited members to submit their favorite seasonal recipes in the Sizzlin’ Summer Recipe Challenge. The person whose posted recipe receives the most “likes” in the contest thread will receive a gift basket stocked with backyard barbecue items.

Participants must post their recipe in the contest thread. Entries should include details like ingredients and measurements, as well as bake, marinade and cook times and temperatures. Photos of the finished dishes are also encouraged.

The prize is a gift basket filled with summer-cooking essentials including a checkered tablecloth, an 18-piece barbecue tool set, an apron with matching towels and barbecue mitt, a three-pack of special seasonings, and “The Barbecue Bible” by Steven Raichlen, which contains tips and more than 500 recipes.

The contest is open now until 6 p.m. EST on Sept. 3. Complete details are available in the contest thread. Participants must be approved, registered members of SST. Registration for the site is free.
