Allstate Self Storage in Phoenix sold in May for an undisclosed amount. The property, 17401 N. Black Canyon Highway, is on about 3 acres and encompasses 76,435 square feet. It offers 973 storage units and 18 boat/RV-parking spaces. In addition, the facility has a cell tower currently leased with AT&T. The facility has been rebranded Black Canyon Bargain Storage.
The buyer is an entity created by Business Property Trust, a Portland, Ore.-based investment company specializing in small-business industrial properties and self-storage facilities. The seller was an entity created by William Levine of Phoenix.
Bill Alter and Denise Nunez of Rein & Grossoehme Commercial Real Estate negotiated the sale. Rein & Grossoehme specializes in the sale of investment properties and commercial leasing.
