StorCo Storage, which operates three self-storage facilities in two states, celebrated the opening of its St. Peters, Missouri, location with a monster-truck show. Customers, team members and residents watched the TailGator perform stunts including jumps, wheelies and car crushing, according to a press release. They also enjoyed treats and won prizes.

The single-story facility at 500 N. Service Road comprises 67,000 square feet of climate-controlled and drive-up units as well as vehicle storage. Built by BBi Constructors, it received certification through PACE Equity's CIRRUS Low Carbon program, a financing solution tailored to enhance energy efficiency and support business sustainability goals.

“Sustainability and carbon reduction have always been a focus for our development project,” said James Reid, CEO of Investa Group, the parent company of StorCo and BBi. “Whether through energy efficiency or waste reduction, we strive to be good stewards of our resources, as seen with our past two projects repurposing empty buildings and converting them into self-storage. This commitment is not just part of our business model, it’s part of our identity; and we hope it inspires others to follow suit.”

Investa Group is an investment firm specializing in self-storage development and property management.

StorCo also operates facilities in O’Fallon, Missouri, and Wood River, Illinois.
