Stowaway Self Storage in Gray, TN, Hit in 3-Car Collision

The rental kiosk at Stowaway Self Storage in Gray, Tenn., was damaged on Sunday evening when three cars crashed in the parking lot just outside the facility entrance at 119 Stowaway Court. Washington County Deputies were called to the scene at Airport Road and Kingsport Highway at about 7 p.m., according to the source.

One person suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. Details regarding the circumstances of the incident or the facility damage have not yet been released.

The accident is being investigated by the sheriff’s office.

The Stowaway brand operates five locations in Bristol, Gray, Greeneville, Johnson City and Kingsport, Tenn. The family-owned and -operated company has been in business for more than 30 years. The Gray facility is open 24 hours, offering climate-controlled and drive-up storage, according to the business website.
