$1,000 Reward Offered in Relation to Texas Self-Storage Arson

A suspected arson at a self-storage facility in Killeen, Texas, has inspired the local Crime Stoppers organization to offer a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

The April 23 fire at Bell Mini Storage was deemed arson by the local fire marshal. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they noticed two separate fires that likely did not start from the same spark. In addition to the fire, authorities also are investigating the facilitys recent rash of burglaries, which they think may be related to the fire.

Bell Mini Storage is located on Reynolds Drive. Killeen is 68 miles north of Austin and very near the U.S. military base at Fort Hood.
