Landvest Breaks Ground on Colorado Springs, CO, Self-Storage Facility

Landvest Corp., a property-management firm specializing in self-storage properties, has broken ground on a new project in Colorado Springs, Colo. The facility at Lee Vance Drive and Woodman Road will operate as Security Self Storage. Though Landvest operates four other Security locations in the area, this will be its first multi-story facility in the market, according to a press release.

“We’re excited to expand our footprint in Colorado Springs. We have operated in The Springs for over 20 years and love the community,” said Brian Byrd, chief operations officer. “There is no doubt that this facility will impress our neighbors, our customers and the community as a whole.”

Founded in 1985 and based in Wichita, Kan., Landvest manages a portfolio of more than 50 self-storage facilities in seven states under the Countryside, Iron Horse and Security Self Storage brand names. Its managed portfolio comprises more than 2.6 million square feet.
