Educational Resources Launches Self-Storage Development Cruise

Educational Resources LLC, a consortium of self-storage firms that provide industry training, are launching a new venture: a combined seminar and cruise that will teach attendees about investing in the business. Cruising to Self-Storage Development Profits embarks from Miami, Fla., on April 16, 2007, scheduled to return on April 20th.

The seminar will be taught by a team of veteran industry consultants who boast a collective 50 years of experience in every aspect of self-storage. Topics to be covered include how to overcome overbuilding; site-selection secrets and common mistakes; how to navigate construction contracts and scheduling; financial feasibility; budgeting tips and more.

Once youve selected the right site, your work is only beginning. Investors are looking for class-A facilities. That demands quality construction, said Bruce McCardle, marketing manager for Educational Resources and eastern division manager for Mako Steel, a supplier and installer of self-storage buildings. Whether you plan to invest for the long haul or acquire an existing facility, you need to know what to look for from the construction side of the equation.

The cruise will take place on Carnival Fun Ship Fascination, traveling through Key West, Fla., and Cozumel, Mexico. Between seminar sessions, participants can enjoy onboard amenities as well as a wide array of on-shore activities.

Educational Resources is embarking on a unique adventure in self-storage education that combines business with pleasure, said RK Kliebenstein, principal of Educational Resources and Coast-To-Coast LLC. You wont want to miss this opportunity to discover self-storage development secrets as you enjoy a Caribbean cruise.

The first 25 people to register two participants for the seminar and a double occupancy room will get the cost of the cruise included in their registration fee.

Registrants will also receive thousands of dollars worth of free bonus materials, including a demographic report of a potential self-storage site; an interactive self-storage development PowerPoint presentation, complete with full-color photos; a Lenders Checklist; a copy of Institutional Grade Criteria, a 125-page workbook that takes readers through every step of the self-storage development process; and a building unit layout of a storage project.

In addition, registrants will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a two-hour consultation with one of Educational Resources partners, a feasibility study, and a chance to purchase a discounted, signed copy of Kliebensteins book, How to Invest in Self-Storage.

Educational Resources is owned and operated by members of Coast-To-Coast Storage, Construction Processes International, DBCI, Mako Steel, Online Self Storage, PDQ Management Solutions, PTI Integrated Systems and SMD Software. For more information, visit www.developerseminar.com.
