Man Arrested in Connection With Break-Ins at Maiden, NC, Self-Storage Facility

Police arrested a man last week in connection with several break-ins that took place at a Maiden, N.C., self-storage facility. The thefts at Harris Mini Storage occurred in August and December 2019, according to the source.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office had received reports that storage units at 6135 E. NC-150 were breached. During the course of their two-year investigation, deputies collected evidence that led them to the suspect, who was arrested on April 7.

Alvin Jack Johnson, 41, has been charged with six felony counts of breaking and entering, five felony counts of larceny, and possession of stolen goods. He’s being held at Harven A. Crouse Detention Center on a $40,000 bond. His next court date is April 29.
