Man and Woman Shot to Death at Charleston, SC, Self-Storage Facility

A man and a woman were found shot to death on Saturday at a self-storage facility in Charleston, South Carolina. Police responded to a call around noon and found the bodies at the Public Storage facility at 2363 Ashley River Road in the West Ashley neighborhood. The Charleston County Coroner’s office identified them as Rodney Head, 51, and Sandra Stenersen, 41.

The incident is being investigated as “intimate partner violence,” according to coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal. The Charleston Police Department is conducting the investigation but isn’t looking for any suspects, Lt. Corey Taylor told a source, adding there is no further threat to the community.

No further details have been released.
