Couple Living in Nebraska Self-Storage Unit Fight With Another Tenant

A man and woman living in a self-storage unit in Lincoln, Neb., began arguing Sunday morning when the man refused to let the woman in the unit.

Police were called to a self-storage facility at 6041 Cornhusker Highway to resolve the couples dispute, which also involved a third person, who was living in another unit.

After Jared Turner Jr., 58, refused to allow his girlfriend into the unit, she began screaming and honking her car horn. The noise brought out a woman living in a nearby unit. Wielding a baseball bat, the woman smashed the window of the other womens car. The girlfriend then backed into another unit, causing an estimated $500 in damages.

Police arrested Turner after discovering 20.2 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The woman with bat has not been located.
