Body Found at Sonora, CA, Self-Storage Facility, Death Deemed ‘Suspicious’

Sheriff’s deputies found a body last week inside a self-storage unit at Purely Storage in Sonora, California. Investigators have ruled the death as suspicions and an autopsy is pending, according to sources.

The Oct. 7 discovery at 18600 Eagle Ridge Road occurred when officers arrived at the storage facility to serve a search warrant. The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office didn’t clarify the reason for the warrant or if it was connected to finding the body, the sources reported. No other information was released.

Founded in 2012, Purely Storage owns or manages 28 facilities in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas and Washington.
