Arrest Made in Connection With Thefts at South Boston, VA, Self-Storage Facility

Police have arrested a man in connection with break-ins of several units at a self-storage facility in South Boston, Va. The thefts at Love Shop Mini Storage happened on Oct. 27, according to the source.

The burglar entered a building at 1035 Dan River Church Road No. 6212 at night with the intent to commit larceny, according to Halifax County Sheriff Fred S. Clark. Some of the stolen items have since been recovered.

Investigators arrested Jordan Oliver, 25, last Sunday without incident. He was booked into Blue Ridge Regional Jail and later released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.

The Person County, N.C., Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
