Wine Storage Bellevue Expands WA Self-Storage Facility for Small Cellar Collections

Wine Storage Bellevue, a specialty self-storage facility in Bellevue, Wash., has added 45 wine units to the property to accommodate more small and mid-sized collections. The 8,000-square-foot facility can store more than 19,000 cases of wine, and now offers 488 secure, all-steel lockers for collections ranging from six to 200 cases.

"We converted 10 larger wine lockers to add more six-, nine- and 12-case wine lockers," said co-owner Patrick Gilroy. "These new, smaller wine locker sizes meet the demand we've been experiencing from our clients, many of whom are just starting out or are expanding beyond the capacity of their home storage."

Tenants can use a dedicated elevator operated by keycard to access the facilitys climate- and humidity-controlled wine-storage area. Units have solid-steel doors and cylinder locks to keep wine secure, company officials said.

The facility also has a Tuscan-styled wine-resource center called the Amoroso Room, which features ornate stonework, leather furnishings, hand-carved wood doors and a dual-sided fireplace. The room can be used to host wine-club meetings and small, private wine events. The 1,000-square-foot space includes free WiFi and a computer with access to cellar-tracking software.

Wine Storage Bellevue also enables tenants to have wine-club shipments sent directly to the facility, and the company offers a complimentary cellar-relocation service for new customers. Custom-designed racking systems are also available for use inside units.
