Value Store It opens in Pompano Beach, Fla. Self-storage operator Value Store It recently hosted a grand-opening event to celebrate its new facility in Pompano Beach, Fla., which opened on March 8. It's the operation's first facility in the city and its sixth in South Florida.

The Business With a Twist event was attended by several members of the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce, of which Value Store It is a member. Participants included Jean McIntyre of Iberia Bank, who is on the chambers board of directors, and Ralph Brigada, a corporate partner director with the chamber. Bryan Lekas, vice president of Value Store It, was there to represent the storage company.

Located at 500 S. Andrews Ave., the facility was immediately gutted and extensively renovated after Value Store It acquired it in January. It has after-hours access, wine storage and specialty-item storage, specifically for paintings. The facility also offers business services, including post-office box rentals, Internet and fax access, and conference-room rentals.

Value Store It is a privately owned self-storage operator based in Miami with 10 facilities and more than 600,000 square feet of rentable space across Connecticut, Florida and New York.
