U-Haul Self-Storage Facility in Lewisville, TX, Adds Boat and RV Storage

A U-Haul self-storage facility in Lewisville, Texas, recently expanded its property by adding boat and RV storage. U-Haul Moving & Storage of Lake Lewisville at 811 E. State Highway 121 Business offers 100 vehicle-storage spaces that include electrical hookups.

"RV and boat storage perfectly complement our traditional self-storage business," said Garner Carey, president of the U-Haul Co. of Northwest Dallas.

Opened in 2012, the 7-acre property features 10 buildings with 650 climate-controlled and drive-up units. It’s near Interstate 35E, Texas State Highway 121 and Lewisville Lake, a reservoir of Trinity River in Denton County, Texas. The property offers hitch installation and towing equipment, propane sales, truck and trailer rentals, U-Box portable-storage rentals, and moving and packing supplies.

"Being close to [Lake Dallas, Texas,] and offering the best product in the industry is important to me," said Harrison Lamkin, the facility’s general manager. "My location features state-of-the-art RV/boat storage with LED lighting, 20- and 50-amp hookups, gate remotes, and 24-hour access.”

Established in 1945, U-Haul International has more than 40 million square feet of storage space at more than 1,000 owned and managed facilities throughout North America.
