STORE Self Storage & Wine Storage of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, to Host Wine-Tasting Event

STORE Self Storage & Wine Storage in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., is hosting a wine tasting on Jan. 23 featuring wines from Beau Vigne, a Napa Valley, Calif., winery. Held in the facility’s private wine-tasting room at 11010 N. Military Trail, the event will begin at 6:30 p.m., hosted by winery owner Ed Snider. Reservations are required as only 20 seats are available, according to the facility’s blog.

The event costs $100 per person, which will be credited toward each attendee’s minimum three-bottle purchase requirement. Featured wines will include five of the vineyard’s 2013 Cabernet Sauvignons as well as a 2013 Petit Verdot and a 2014 reserve Chardonnay. Several of the wines were awarded 95 points or higher by wine critic Robert Parker, founder of “The Wine Advocate.” A score of 90 to 95 means the wine is outstanding, while a score of 96 to 100 means it’s extraordinary.

Snider, who’s a friend of the wine-storage facility’s owners, will also be participating in the Palm Beach Wine Auction on Jan. 21 at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Fla. The event will benefit education programs at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Founded in 2002 on a few acres by Ed and Trish Snider, Beau Vigne is a family winery with a production of about 4,000 cases per year. The vineyard, Stags Ridge Vineyard & Ranch, sits on 9 acres of land on the eastern edge of Napa Valley in the Atlas Peak Appellation.

STORE Self Storage & Wine Storage is owned by brothers Jon and Joel Channing. The facility employs a staff sommelier, Drew Feinberg, and hosts several events each year for its wine-storage customers, according to its website. Built in 2008, the wine-storage area includes 135 vaults.
