Self-Storage Business and Carwash Passes From One Generation to Another in Seymour, MO

P&R Investments Car Wash & Mini Storage in Seymour, Mo., is changing names and passing from one generation to the next. Opened nearly 30 years ago by local businessmen Ken Pennington and Dean Rowe, the property at 114 E. Washington St. has been sold to Rowe’s sons, Jeff and Rodney Rowe.

The business, which also includes a three-bay carwash, has been renamed Seymour Storage and Main Street Car Wash, according to the source. Jeff Rowe, who lives north of the city, will handle day-to-day operation while Rodney Rowe will offer support and assist with the company’s administration from his location in St. Louis.

The carwash was built in 1987 and storage was added a year later. Both businesses have been expanded over the years.
