Human skeletal remains were discovered yesterday inside a self-storage unit at Minnie Stor-All in Calhoun, Ga. Officers from the Calhoun Police Department were called to the property at 1165 Red Budd Road around 9:30 a.m.
Although the case is under investigation, police don’t suspect any foul play in the death at this time. “The remains appear to be that of the lessee of the unit, who we believe may have been living inside the facility,” Lt. Tony Pyle of the Calhoun Police Department said in an official statement.
The person’s identity has yet to be released.
