My Storage Bin Proposes Self-Storage Facility for Pompano Beach, FL

Real estate developer Avrohom Oustatcher has submitted a proposal to build a My Storage Bin self-storage facility in Pompano Beach, Fla. The 3.8-acre property at 51 N.E. 10th St. is just south of Pompano Beach Airpark and along West Dixie Highway, according to the source. Oustatcher acquired the property for $1.4 million in July.

The four-story facility will include 96,954 square feet of storage space in 819 units. It’s being designed by Keith & Associates Inc., a South Florida consulting and engineering firm.

City officials will consider the plan at an Oct. 21 development-review committee meeting.

South Florida has a number of self-storage developments underway to meet demand for a growing population, according to the source. Banner Storage Group LLC is developing a self-storage facility in downtown Miami, and Gables Edge Parks Co. recently filed an application with Miami-Dade County to construct a five-story facility in Coral Gables, Fla.
