My Neighborhood Storage Center (MNSC), a self-storage operator with 12 Florida locations, is nearing completion on a new facility in Windermere, Fla. The three-story property at 7901 Winter Garden Vineland Road will comprise 94,560 square feet in 600 climate-controlled units. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of December, with a grand-opening event featuring beverages, food and giveaways scheduled for mid-January, according to a company press release.
The facility will feature 24-hour customer access, security and a 258-foot drive-through access bay that spans the entire building. The location will offer online payments and free use of a moving truck upon move-in.
“We are committed to delivering the best quality asset for the Windermere community,” said Adam Mikkelson, vice president of Liberty Investment Properties Inc., which manages the MNSC portfolio. The self-storage developer was drawn to the Orlando, Fla., suburb because of high consumer demand but low supply, he added.
MNSC has locations in Apopka, Clermont, Kissimmee, Lake Mary, Longwood, Orlando and Oviedo. The Windermere location will be the company’s 13th facility and be called My Neighborhood Storage Center of Lakeside.
Based in Orlando, Liberty Investment Properties focuses on income-producing assets and related equity and debt investments on behalf of individual and institutional investors.
