The Jenkins Organization Inc., a self-storage operator and management company, has purchased Gosling Road Self Storage in Spring, Texas. The 60,000-square-foot facility will be expanded to 81,300 square feet this spring, company officials said.

The property is on Gosling Road, just north of Spring Stuebner Road. The facility offers ground-level standard and temperature-controlled units, covered boat/RV storage, onsite management, gated access, surveillance cameras, moving supplies and truck rentals.

The acquisition brings the number of owned and managed properties under The Jenkins Organization to 53, serving approximately 23,000 customers. Based in Houston, the company has a managed-property portfolio valued at more than $200 million. The company specializes in self-storage acquisitions, development and management. Its real estate development services include sale-leaseback and build-to-suit transactions.
