Extra Self Storage Buys Hub Storage in Olivehurst, CA, for $2M

Extra Self Storage, which operates 11 facilities in California and Nevada, acquired Hub Storage in Olivehurst, Calif., for $2 million. The property at 5724 Chestnut Road comprises 109,000 rentable square feet of storage space and was approximately 50 percent leased at the time of sale, according to a press release. Just minutes from Beale Air Force Base, it includes 12 buildings on 6.24 acres of land and has visibility from Interstate 70.

Hub Storage also includes a cell tower leased to SBA Communications Corp., the release stated.

The deal was brokered by Tom de Jong, vice president of commercial real estate firm Colliers International and an affiliate of the Argus Self Storage Sales Network.

Extra Self Storage operates nine facilities in California and two in Nevada.

Argus is a Denver-based network of real estate brokers who specialize in storage properties. Formed in 1994, the company has 36 broker affiliates covering nearly 40 markets.
