Budget Self Storage is hosting a free community event on Nov. 5 at its newest location in Sarasota, Fla. The holiday-themed affair, 1-4 p.m., at 4515 S. Tamiami Trail will include a visit by Santa Claus, games, music, photos, prizes and refreshments. The first floor of the storage facility will feature units outfitted with themes such as " beach photo booth,” "under the sea" and "carnival,” which will include games and prizes for kids.

Several community businesses are also participating in the event, including Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, which will offer chair massages. Soul to Soul Yoga LLC, Crunch Fitness and Tropical Shores will hand out door prizes and goody bags.

The event will also spotlight three local nonprofits Budget supports: Sarasota Bay Watch, Selah Freedom and The Junior League of Sarasota Inc.

“We are so excited to introduce our new location in a fun and exciting way. It wasn’t easy getting Santa to come to Sarasota this early in the season, but he agreed that Budget is not your typical self-storage company. We invite everyone to come and see the difference,” said Robin Emanuel, marketing coordinator.
Founded in 1985, Budget Self Storage is locally owned and operates seven facilities in Florida, including three in Sarasota. In addition to self-storage, its properties offer document shredding, electronic recycling, and moving and packing supplies.
